Cycle 2 of Battle Frontier brought in many recognized and familiar teams as well as a lot of new teams into the fray. This week, we will be looking at some of the teams that really stood out amongst the rest:

NEB: Udder Madness:

Originally starting as a Diamond tier Silph faction (Madison Miltanks) with all members from Wisconsin, the current faction only has one original member remaining (Waterbug/, their captain) and merged with NEB at the end of 2022. Upon the merge to become NEB: Udder Madness (an ode to the original name of the faction), the team has expanded to now include members from all over the country. UM’s general chat is renown in the NEB community for its memes and banter while the focus is to achieve success at the highest competition level.

NEB: Udder Madness has rapidly climbed the ranks in Battle Frontier since its inception in Cycle 1, where they qualified in the Top 16 of the Open Tier teams and seeded in Champion Tier overall to end the Cycle. Not letting the momentum slow down, they siezed 1st place in Champion Tier during Cycle 2 with a dominating margin and will be joining Legendary Tier for Cycle 3. We expect to continue seeing strong performances from this team as they challenge themselves in the highest tier for the NA region and look to earn an invitational spot for Battle Frontier Worlds.

RoSlarkBo:

RoSlarkBo consists of team of designers who all spent a lot of time coming up with their logo. When not putting effort into logo design, members of RoSlarkBo can be found sweeping cycles and wondering who’s next. Individually, RoSlarkBo players boast many accomplishments. StopAlcatraz posted a winning record while finishing up medical school, BigCdizzle went 18-3 in Ultra League while learning how to be a first time dad, Humpaka swept many opponents but is convinced the next person he plays will sweep him because “he’s due for it,” and SirBreezy had a strong cycle and is already getting ready for the next by asking for feedback on his team months before cycle 3 starts. Two things are certain for next cycle, RoSlarkBo will have a lot of fun together and Hooter1591 won’t play week one because “there aren’t any teams to steal yet.”

RoSlarkBo started their team pvp experience in Season 2 of Silph where their run got cut short after a dominating performance in Silph’s open tier. They joined the Cycle 1 teams in Battle Frontier, and had a strong performance which seeded them into Expert Tier for Cycle 2. In Cycle 2, the team came back strong with a dominating 1st place performance which will have them continuing to prove themselves in Elite Tier for Cycle 3. We don’t expect the momentum to slow down either!
