Below is a step by step guide for how to use the core functions of participating in the Battle Frontier Tournament. This page will cover basics including how to login, find your team page, submit a team, find your opponent, and report your scores.
When first using the site, you will need to log in. This can be found in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

After logging in, you will be brought to your profile. At the bottom of your profile, you will see several options. We will circle back to the less critical options later in this guide. For now we will focus on your team, which will be displayed at the bottom.

Click on your team to be brought to your teams page. From there, you will see a link that says “Team Center Link”. This will bring you to a private page where players can be assigned by captains, scores can be input by players, and pokemon selections can be input

For Captains, you will see an extra form where players can be assigned to their leagues for the week. ONLY captains will see this form. If you are not a captain, you will see a message stating that this form is not visible to you. Captains will see a drop down menu of players appear. Assign the players to their position, and this will be reflected in the player forms below it.

When a player submits a team, they will see drop down menus where they can select the league’s eligible pokemon and select shadow status. ONCE YOU CLICK SUBMIT, the sprites will update on the right-hand side to show that your selections have registered. If your pokemon sprites do not update, there may have been an error and you should resubmit. If they still do not update, notify a staff member. The first time you use this form, you may see random sprites to the side of the form. These are leftover from testing by staff. You can just update them by performing a new submission.

For the OGL, OUL, and OML leagues, there is a check to verify if your team is over points. If your team is over points, your sprites will glow red. If this happens, it is notifying you that your team is illegal. If you still submit this team as is, you will face a match penalty by the refs. If you submit duplicate pokemon or impossible shadow pokemon, those individual sprites will glow red. You will see red error sprites if you submit duplicate pokemon or an impossible shadow pokemon.

Rarely, the red error glow may not update correctly. This appears to be a device cookie/cache issue. You may need to check your cache settings or refresh the page to fix it. However, these red sprites are a guide for you to utilize. RESPONSIBILITY OF SUBMITTING A LEGAL TEAM STILL REMAINS WITH THE PLAYER.
After submitting teams, you will do your battling. Once battles are completed, you will be able to enter your score. Find the area at the top of your team center, locate your name, and simply select your score (0, 1, 2, or 3), and click submit. You DO NOT need to worry about any of the scores entered in any other players field. Only worry about your own and click submit.

Now that player, pokemon, and score submissions are covered, we can look at the brackets. First, you will need to find your bracket. You can do so by clicking the “Brackets” link at the top of the navigation bar

From here, find your region, and then your tier.

Once you’ve navigated through to your correct bracket, you will see all of the matchups. You can locate your team and find your opponents here. Click on the matchup to expand it. You will then see a link that says “view matchup”. You can click this to be redirected to a sheet which will show your opponents and their pokemon.

At the top of the reveal page you will see the teams with their running score totals, as well as slots for the player names and pokemon. Before reveals, these will all be blank. After reveals, you will see the player and pokemon names appear
After the reveals, if an opponents team is illegal by being over points, it will glow red. If the team is legal, it will look normal. For reference, there will also be a Team Point Value total cell which will display for you too.

Once all matches are complete, the final score needs to be verified in the bracket. THIS IS THE CAPTAIN’S RESPONSIBILITY. CAPTAINS MUST SUBMIT FINAL SCORE IN THE BRACKET. Once this is done, it will go to staff for final review and approval.
Captains can submit the final score by clicking on their matchup, and clicking on the text that says “Report Score”

Simply fill in your pogo username, and the two scores. No photo evidence is necessary. Then click the green button to submit.

In addition to the actual tournament functions, there are other resources available to the players including a searchable player history database, dispute form, and rules guide. These links can be found in two places. They can be found at the top of the navigation bar, or directly in your profile page
